Edbert asked me to help him post this piece of info. on Red Camp. Think it's a great idea for all of you to consider participating in it...especially if all of you decide to go together. Think it'll be fun as well as informative for those considering the poly. Better still, can try dragging along people from A2. GJ and H should think about it too even if you are keen to go to the JC...anyway there are no strings attached (",) Here's the advertisement from the website.
Red Camp 6 (17 -19 Nov 2009)
Red Camp is a 3-day event for O Level students to experience what a poly's campus life is all about.
Is poly life suitable for me? What diploma courses can I choose from? What kinda CCAs can I join?
We know these (and more!) questions are probably racing through your minds right now. We’ve got the answers for you at RED Camp on 17-19 November 2009!
What’s happening? RED Camp will give you the opportunity to experience the many courses (over 40!) and CCAs (more than 100!) that Ngee Ann Poly has to offer. Best of all, it’s a fab time to make new friends. With an expected turnout of 1,800 students from over 140 schools, just imagine how many friends you’ll be adding to your FaceBook by the end of RED Camp!
How much is it? Everything is… FREE! Yup, we’re throwing in free lunch and dinner, plus free shuttle service from Clementi, Hougang, Tampines and Woodlands. And, because we wanna show you more love, we’ve even lined up goodie bags and great lucky draw prizes. Oh, not forgetting our Hop Nite dance party, where you can dazzle us with your hot moves! There’s so much stuff going on that we can’t even list it all out here. (You’ve gotta check out the What’s On section for full details!)
Who can sign up? It’s open to ALL graduating O-level students. So sign up for the RED Camp today! Places are limited and available on a first-come-first basis. Registration closes on 5 October 2009 (or earlier if all spots are filled).
